G2 RIP Ammo 9mm 93 Gr HP

G2 Research has created their "R.I.P." (Radically Invasive Projectile) cartridge with the intention of providing a defensive projectile that will defeat common barriers and heavy clothing, and still expand and separate into individual fragments for enhanced lethality. The solid copper projectile is cut into 9 jagged forward-facing teeth that create their own wound channels once separated inside the target, creating staggering knockdown power. The 9 separate wound channels can expand out to a 6" diameter area, unlike traditional hollow points that can only achieve minor expansion in comparison. The chances that one of these fragments hits something vital is far greater than any single projectile, meaning that each one of your R.I.P. shots stands a greater chance of ending a life-threatening situation than any other hollow point on the market. 

An expanding projectile is only able to do its job if it can make it through the obstacles that may be in the way, which is why G2 Research has tested the R.I.P. against plywood, drywall, automotive glass, sheet metal, sheetrock, and heavy winter clothing. Even through these considerable surfaces and barriers, G2 Research reports that their R.I.P. round could still create up to 14"-16" of penetration inside a target. Placing accurate shots out to 25 yards with these dramatic hollow point rounds is not unreasonable, G2 Research reports groups within 2" at such ranges.
