About PTR Industries

PTR Industries was founded in 2002 when its predecessor company purchased tooling, designs, and technical data packages for Heckler & Koch roller-lock weapons from Fábrica de Braço de Prata in Portugal.

The company initially operated from Bristol, Connecticut, building a reputation for quality H&K-style rifles at accessible price points.

In 2013, PTR Industries became the first firearms manufacturer to publicly announce its departure from Connecticut following restrictive gun legislation, relocating to Aynor, South Carolina.

The company has pioneered American production of roller-delayed blowback rifles and helped establish South Carolina as a major firearms manufacturing hub.

Today, PTR Industries operates from a modern 21st-century manufacturing facility, producing American-made firearms that maintain H&K quality standards with their signature "We the people shall not be infringed" marking.
