Phase 5 Tactical was founded in November 2007 by Ken Montes, who began the company after designing a firearm component in his garage workshop.
The business launched when a local shopkeeper saw Ken's creation and asked how many he could make, turning a problem-solving project into a thriving company.
Ken Montes grew up in Texas with a passion for fabrication and previously founded Benen Industries, a top Honda automobile suspension products company from 1996-2006.
