About Leapers
Leapers, Inc. was founded in 1992 by David Ding in his garage in Michigan, starting with the sale of a single 4X28 scope.
David and his wife Tina were police officers in Taiwan for 10 years before coming to the United States in 1984 for graduate studies.
After working as software engineers at Ford Motor Company for 10 years, David launched what would become a global enterprise in the tactical accessories industry.
From a one-person garage business, Leapers has grown into an international company with over 380 employees and operations in four countries including the USA, Germany, Taiwan, and China.
Today, the company operates from a 150,000+ square-foot headquarters complex and is recognized for democratizing quality optics and accessories under their "The Best Never Rest" motto.
