Grizzly Cartridge Company was founded in 2003 by Mike Rintoul with a specific vision for uncompromising quality control in ammunition manufacturing.
Rintoul established the company with the philosophy that all engineering, manufacturing, marketing, quality assurance and service functions would routinely undergo his personal inspections.
In 2003, the company also acquired Cast Performance Bullet Company, which specialized in bullets cast from LBT (Lead Bullet Technology) molds developed by Veral Smith of LBT Technologies.
This acquisition allowed Grizzly Cartridge to bring hand-loaded performance to factory-loaded rounds, making premium Cast Performance bullets accessible to shooters who don't handload their own ammunition.
