About Bond Arms
Bond Arms Inc. was founded in 1995 by Greg Bond, a former Texas Instruments engineer and experienced tool and die maker, in Granbury, Texas.
The company was incorporated with the revolutionary idea that the traditional Remington Model 95 over-under derringer could be converted from an Old West anachronism into a modern, safe, dependable, and well-built defensive handgun.
After being hired to solve manufacturing problems for another gun-maker and subsequently fired, Greg Bond was motivated to design and build a safer, more dependable, innovative upgraded derringer-style gun.
Bond Arms revolutionized the derringer market by transforming what was historically considered a novelty or "throw-away" gun into a legitimate defensive firearm with modern safety features and quality construction.
Today, the company employs approximately 40 people and has become the premier manufacturer of modern derringer-style pistols, celebrating over 25 years of American entrepreneurship and family values.
